The documentary series My Song, Our History - Deutschland, deine Lieder tells German contemporary history through songs that revive the defining moments of recent decades. Artists such as Yaenniver ,  and Eko Fresh talk about the personal experiences behind hits like “Mädchen, Mädchen” and “Es brennt!”. They deal with topics such as sexual violence against women, racism and social upheaval. The German Punk pioneers Fehlfarben also show how relevant their classic “Es geht voran” still is today.
